For your or my reference, it took 2m of 1,5m wide fabric to upholster the whole chair. The seat is just fixed with nails, I removed the terminals for the armrests. The backrest is tricky, I stitched and stretched the fabric, use tough thread or double it up and take your time. Took me two afternoons to make and about three months to make me go to Ikea to buy the fabric.
