tu – the first day.

Heute war beginners day an der TU Wien der Fachschaft Informatik.

Informatiker sind ein komisches, verwirrtes und geekiges Pack. Großteils sind da sehr interessante Leute darunter, von denen es einiges zu lernen gibt. Aber auch die andere Seite ist zahlreich vertreten, was mich persönlich doch eher verunsichert.

Viel gelernt in diesen Stunden. Vor allem die verschiedene Gebäude der TU habe ich zum ersten mal gesehen, und auch einige Personen der Verwaltung haben wir gesehen.

Endlich…

Ihr alle kennt Wanduhren, und die ticken nunmal. Bei einer Uhr nicht gerade dramatisch, bei drei Uhren nebeneinander – ungleichmäßig und unendlich entnervend.

Wenn man sich die Funktion einer solchen Billig-Uhr ansieht, merkt man dass sich ein großteil des Tickens aus dem stoppen der Zeiger entsteht. Im Endeffekt wird dadurch, dass die Zeiger von der Schwerkraft nach unten gezogen wird der “Stopp-Effekt” erhöht, und damit die Lautstärke des Tickens.

Hmm wie viele Gedanken man in dumme Wanduhren investieren kann.

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, durch das Abschneiden der Sekundenzeiger wurden alle drei Wanduhren viel leiser, und damit fürs erste Aushaltbar.

hmm ich war den heutigen Tag mit nerds und geeks an der TU zusammen, ich nehme an, dass das mein Denken jetzt schon drastisch ins Idiotische abdriften lässt.
