Ich pers. habe eine gewisse Begeisterung für den Buchdruck, und daher hat mich diese Wanddeko auch begeistert.

mir ist gerade aufgefellan: Ich hab ja nicht einmal viel über diese riessige Wanduhr von sparkfun geschrieben.

Also, die Jungs dort haben dieses riessige Projekt einer digitalen LED-Uhr, die den Platz einer ganzen Wand braucht. Und dafür gibt es auch noch ein Tutorial.

Also, wies gemacht wird sieht man zwar sehr gut auf deren Site, aber einen kleinen Überblick will ich euch auch hier verschaffen. die einzelnen Ziffern sind Styro-Platten, aus denen die beleuchteten Felder ausgeschnitten wurden.

Da hinein wurden LED-Reihen gesetzt, und mit einer Schaltung und GPS-Zeit angesteuert.

Klingt ja ziemlich einfach… ist es aber ganz und gar nicht. Im Endeffekt bin ich ja nur neidisch. Ich will auf jeden Fall auch so ein Teil, allerdings siehts in der Wohnung mit solch einer großen, leeren Wand sehr sehr schlecht aus. Hmm… Ich will trotzdem so etwas, vl. schaffe ich den Platz einfach irgendwo, mal sehen. Es steht auf jeden Fall auf meiner langen langen Liste.

NES – huge NES

Die Jungs von Sparkfun, über deren riessige Uhr ich letztens bereits geschrieben habe, haben noch ein weiteres Projekt, dass mich sehr begeistert.

Einen riessigen NES-Controller. Hier das Bild davon.

Worauf ich euch wirklich hinweisen muss ist in der rechten oberen Ecke des riessen Controllers (der voll funktionsfähig ist) liegt das originale Teil.

new projects with arduino

Hmm

Im Moment fallen mir viele viele viele neue, interessante Projekte in die Hände.

Seit ca. zwei Wochen bin ich besessen von CNC-Maschinen, Dinger, die computergesteuert dreidimensionale Teile ausschneiden können.

Hmm

Die billigste Version eines solchen Teiles wäre wohl mit Servo-Motoren aus dem Modellbau zu bauen. Hierzu habe ich schon eine interessante Implementierung aufgetrieben, die mithilfe eines Arduinos 4 Servos steuern kann.

Sehr sehr genial. hab hier einen Arduino herumliegen, und einige alte Servos aus meiner Modellbau-Zeit. Bin gespannt aut die erzielbaren Ergebnisse.

Die ganze Nacht arbeite ich an einem Plan für diese Uhr, und komme einfach nicht weiter.

Einige Gedanken kommen mir ja schon, vor allem hervorgerufen von dem Schlafentzug.

1. PIC-Programmieren lernen und Hardware selbset bauen.
2. Debian auf einem Rechner installieren, und die LEDs über I/O Ports ansteuern.
3. Hardcore analog. Die digitale Ledanzeige durch eine analoge Uhr ansteuern.
4. Mit Arduino ansteuern (mit dem Teil muss ich eh noch was interessantes bauen!)

Hmm. Ich werd mal mit Nik reden, vielleicht hat der einen klareren Kopf als ich. Aber ernsthaft, ich will SO EIN DING.
