ein freund der astronomie studiert, hat mir dieses “ding” empfohlen, als ich ihn nach div. sternbildern gefragt habe.

ein astrolabium ist ein sehr einfach konstruiertes, aber echt geniales “gerät”, das mit zwei scheiben die sterne am himmel in ihrer aktuellen position anzeigt.

im wikipedia artikel wird auch der nachfolger, die “drehbare sternenkarte” erwähnt, zu der es sogar eine version zum ausdrucken und selber basteln gibt. und das werde ich demnächst einmal teste.

if people sat outside and looked at the stars each night – i bet the would live a lot differently.

i have been sitting under the stars a lot the last nights. there’s sth. to this theorie. i saw lot’s of shooting stars, tried to find the milky way and some signs, and just realize how tiny i am, how tiny we all are, and how great the things around us are. just. humbling.

 

you feel bigger, after you’ve felt small.
